On August 22nd, the internationally renowned medical scientist and human myoblast gene therapy technology inventor, Professor Peter K. Law was invited to visit Clifford hospital. He delivered a lecture entitled "myoblast transplantation therapy", which was attended by Professor Peng Pengji, dean of the hospital, and more than 100 medical staff.
According to Professor Law, myoblast is the precursor cell of muscle tissue. It exists in the normal muscle tissue and is the only natural way to fuse muscle cells in the human body. As the best cell for repairing muscle defects, myoblasts are capable of self-renewal and the directional regeneration of muscle fibers.
When it comes to the application status and prospect of myoblasts, Professor Law said that Cell Therapy Institute has always been committed to the human myoblast genome platform treatment technology, the study and application of myoblast transplantation therapy technology . Currently it has achieved remarkable results in the treatment of muscular atrophy, type II diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and in the field of cosmetic plastic surgery and regenerative medicine.
